For the second time in three years, Cancarb Limited has received the highest possible sustainability rating from EcoVadis, a global provider of corporate and environmental scorecards. Cancarb’s Platinum Sustainability Rating indicates that the maker of Thermax® medium thermal carbon black is in the top 1% of rated suppliers.

RDAbbott and NovationSi recently gave a group of Ohio middle schoolers a firsthand look at American manufacturing in action. On July 12th, approximately fifteen students from Barberton Middle School toured the 127,000+ sq. ft. facility in Barberton, Ohio, which is NovationSi’s headquarters and RDAbbott’s Northeast hub. The students learned how LSR and HCR differ, as well as how they’re made, tested, colored, and cured.

Cancarb Limited celebrated its 50th anniversary this year with a $50,000 donation to the Cancarb Employee and Alumni Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta (CFSA).

Employees of Cancarb Limited in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada, have donated 18 new and gently used adult and children’s bicycle helmets to a local non-profit organization. The cyclists among Cancarb identified a community need for greater bicycle safety and presented the donation to the Saamis Immigration Services Association.

ARLANXEO now offers Keltan® Eco EPDM that meets the requirements of mass balance, a model for tracking sustainable feedstock and encouraging the circular economy. In a related development, ARLANXEO will rename its Keltan® Eco grades to reflect the feedstock source. These name changes are scheduled for January 1, 2024.
