Cancarb Employees Donate Bicycle Helmets

Employees of Cancarb Limited in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada, have donated 18 new and gently used adult and children’s bicycle helmets to a local non-profit organization. The cyclists among Cancarb identified a community need for greater bicycle safety and presented the donation to the Saamis Immigration Services Association.

Cancarb’s commitment to community involvement has been especially evident in recent years. During the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, Cancarb employees and retirees volunteered with a local food bank to help feed local families in need. Cancarb later purchased a greenhouse to support the food bank’s efforts, and Cancarb employees volunteered their time to help grow vegetables.
