“Chemlok® Overview, Best Practices and Troubleshooting” Webinar by Parker Lord (December 6)

On Tuesday, December 6, 2022, from 11 AM – 1 PM (EST), Parker Lord is hosting a free virtual training event featuring its Chemlok® rubber-to-substrate adhesives. Parker LORD Senior Scientist Jeff Means and Application Engineer Cristina DiFranco will provide the technical training.

This virtual training will consist of two, one-hour pre-recorded training sessions followed by a live question-and-answer session with each presenter. The first training session will focus on proper substrate preparation, adhesive preparation and application techniques, coated part handling, and molding best practices. The second training session will focus on troubleshooting bond failures and preventative actions.

About the Presenters

Jeff Means is in his 32nd year of technical service, providing auditing, operator training, new product introduction and troubleshooting for Parker Lord’s Chemlok® product line. He is active in the Energy Polymer Group, Polyurethane Manufacturer Association, Rubber Roller Group, and other rubber groups throughout the regions. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in General Science from Clarion University in 1985 and resides in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Cristina DiFranco is an Application Engineer with the Parker Lord Application Engineering team based in Erie, PA. Her role is focused on working with customers to troubleshoot bond failures, optimize bonding processes, and select suitable adhesive products for rubber-to-substrate applications. She leads customer training sessions several times a year for the Chemlok® Academy held on-site in Erie. She graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and a concentration in Polymer Science. Her passion is helping customers implement adhesive solutions to create innovative products.
