3M has recently launched new web resources for its next generation of 3M™ Dyneon™ Peroxide Cure Fluoroelastomers (FKMs). These next-gen FKMs offer many benefits, including the ability to cure with and without metal oxides, high resistance against chemical fluids, and good physical properties right out of the press. Plus, due to their ability to be cured without metal oxides, these FKMs have improved acid resistance for reduced volume swell.

3M™ Dyneon™ Peroxide Cure Fluoroelastomer FPO 3620 is a terpolymer of vinylidene fluoride, hexafluoropropylene and tetrafluoroethylene, plus a cure site monomer. This next-generation FKM has a fluorine content of 67.3%, and can be formulated for extrusion and calendering, as well as injection, compression and transfer molding of hoses and other molded goods.

3M™ Dyneon™ Peroxide Cure Fluoroelastomer FPO 3650 is a terpolymer of vinylidene fluoride, hexafluoropropylene and tetrafluoroethylene, plus a cure site monomer. This next-generation FKM has a fluorine content of 67.3%, and can be formulated for extrusion and calendering, as well as injection, compression and transfer molding of seals like O-rings and gaskets.

3M™ Dyneon™ Peroxide Cure Fluoroelastomer FPO 3820 is a terpolymer of vinylidene fluoride, hexafluoropropylene and tetrafluoroethylene, plus a cure site monomer. This next-generation FKM has a fluorine content of 70.1% for excellent resistance against chemical fluids. These properties make it an excellent choice for fuel line hoses and blow-by gas hoses.

3M™ Dyneon™ Peroxide Cure Fluoroelastomer FPO 3850 is a terpolymer of vinylidene fluoride, hexafluoropropylene and tetrafluoroethylene, plus a cure site monomer. This next-generation FKM has a fluorine content of 70.1% for excellent resistance against chemical fluids. These properties make it an excellent choice for seals like O-rings and gaskets.
