Thanks to the generous spirit of our employees and nearby colleagues, RDAbbott’s “75 Acts of Kindness” campaign, a year-long effort to celebrate our company’s 75th Anniversary, is off to an inspiring start!

Craig Lustek, RDAbbott Application/Business Development Engineer, will present “Liquid Silicone Rubber Basics” at Sodick-Plustech’s NPE 2024 Preview Open House on Thursday, April 11, 2024, in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. This one-day event will give industry professionals an opportunity to preview Sodick-Plustech’s injection molding machines less than a month before NPE 2024 in Orlando, Florida.

TLARGI will host a new March Extravaganza event on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 12:00 to 8:00 PM (PT) at the Knott’s Berry Farm Hotel in Buena Park, California. RDAbbott will exhibit during the event’s Mini Expo and provide a technical presentation during its Technical Conference. Parker Lord and Cancarb Limited, two of RDAbbott’s supplier partners, will also deliver technical presentations.

Join Parker Lord on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM (ET) for a free training about its Chemlok® rubber-to-substrate adhesives. This virtual training will consist of two, one-hour pre-recorded sessions followed by a live question-and-answer session. Sign up to learn about substrate adhesive preparation, and application, coated part handling, molding best practices, and troubleshooting.

Rick Ziebell, RDAbbott’s Vice President of Technology and Technical Fellow, will be an instructor for Silicone Elastomers Technology and Fabrication, an expert-led course from M.R. Toub Training, scheduled for January 30 to February 2, 2024, from 8 AM to 5 PM (PT) each day. This university-accredited course will provide participants with continuing education credits from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

Join Parker Lord on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM (ET) for a free Weatherstrip and Glass Virtual Training Course. This webinar will cover Sipiol® weatherstrip coatings (Module 1) and Flocklok® single-coat flock adhesives (Module 2). There will be a live question-and-answer session at the end of each module. The total course duration is 90 minutes.

Three more RDAbbott leaders have been nominated for an Honorary Lifetime Membership in The Los Angeles Rubber Group, Inc. (TLARGI). The nominees are Keith Thomas, RDAbbott’s CEO; Rick Ziebell, Vice President of Technology and Technical Fellow; and Russ Shorter, Senior Account Manager. TLARGI announced the nominations at its annual Christmas Party, on December 3, 2023.
