RDAbbott’s Cristina DiFranco will present “Elastomer-to-Metal Adhesion: Best Practices for Adhesive Mixing and Application” at the Quebec Rubber Group’s Technical-Commercial Dinner on October 24, 2024. The focus is Chemlok® rubber-to-substrate vulcanizing adhesives, and the content will be similar to previous events that RDAbbott has hosted in collaboration with Parker Lord.

Employees of Cancarb Limited in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada, have donated 18 new and gently used adult and children’s bicycle helmets to a local non-profit organization. The cyclists among Cancarb identified a community need for greater bicycle safety and presented the donation to the Saamis Immigration Services Association.
Thanks to a monetary contribution by Cancarb Limited, 16 trees were added to Lions Park in Redcliff, Alberta, Canada. Cancarb also volunteered its employees to assist with planting the trees alongside fellow townsmen.
