Cancarb Limited has published a Tensile Strength Distribution Technical Bulletin that shows how formulating nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) with Thermax® N990 improves dispersion quality and supports potential cost reductions. The study compared nine materials, including two Thermax® medium thermal carbon black materials, and used tensile strength distribution instead of optical instruments to evaluate dispersion quality.

RDAbbott has joined forces with Cancarb Limited as its exclusive distributor for Thermax® brand medium thermal carbon black in Mexico. This strategic agreement, effective June 25, 2023, aims to expand market presence and deliver exceptional technical support to customers. Alpha Technologies is offering an extension for its Premier™ Rubber Process Analyzer (RPA) that can increase safety and reduce costs. Known as “Sub-Zero Technology,” this enhancement can test compounds at temperatures as low as -25°C without the use of liquid nitrogen.

Cancarb has launched Thermax® N990CG, a low PAH grade of thermal carbon black that gives customers the ability to minimize the amount of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) in their products without sacrificing quality and performance.
