Parker LORD is hosting a webinar on Wednesday, September 23rd at 2:00 PM (ET) to introduce its introduce its revolutionary adhesion additive patent-pending technology, Chemlok® 3Stream (3S), that transforms regular liquid silicone rubber (LSR) into self-bonding LSR.
Dow is spotlighting silicones as part of its new MobilityScience™ platform, an online resource for the automotive and transportation industries. This highly interactive platform explains how Dow Performance Silicones are driving innovation in e-mobility, connectivity, autonomous vehicles, safety, and light-weighting.
Dow SILASTIC™ silicone elastomers are meeting increasingly challenging requirements while supporting environmental sustainability and product innovation. This article outlines some valuable resources to help you understand the features and uses of Dow’s high performing silicones.
Live at MD&M West 2020 in Anaheim, California. We’re featuring a custom-designed flying disc over-molded with 50-durometer Dow SILASTIC™ Low Temperature Cure (LTC) 9400 Series Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR).
Dow SILASTIC™ LTC 9400 Series are low-temperature-curing elastomers that enable increased design freedom and process efficiency for automotive components and consumer goods.
RDAbbott will demonstrate a revolutionary application for overmolding liquid silicone rubber (LSR) at MD&M West this year. RDAbbott, in partnership with M.R. Mold & Engineering Corp., will showcase a production cell where 50-durometer Dow SILASTIC™ LTC 9400 LSR, a low-temperature curing (LTC) elastomer for high-volume injection molding, is overmolded onto a custom-designed flying disc. Historically, LSR overmolding onto low-melting-point plastics and other thermally-sensitive components, such as electronics, has not been possible because of the high curing temperatures required.
