Since its foundation in 1981, PERGAN has established itself as a leading producer of organic peroxides for crosslinking and modifying elastomer polymers. With more than 250 employees at the locations in Germany, the United States and China, the PERGAN group produces 50 different peroxide types and over 300 custom peroxide formulations which are exported to more than 50 countries.

In addition to crosslinking and modifying rubber polymers, organic peroxides can also be used for polymerizing plastics monomers and curing unsaturated polyesters, vinyl-esters, and acrylic resins.

  • co-vulcanization of saturated and unsaturated rubbers, polyethylene, and other polyolefins
  • co-polymerization with polymerizable plasticizers or other co-agents to achieve a controlled hardness and stiffness, coupled with easy processing
