Millathane Polymers Drive Golf Grip Comfort and Performance

TSE Industries has published an article about how its Millathane® millable polyurethanes are improving golf grips. These polymers combine the performance advantages of polyurethanes with the compounding flexibility of rubber. Golf grip manufacturers that include TSE’s millable polyurethanes in their compounds can strike the right balance between performance and comfort.

Millathane® polyurethanes can be compounded to achieve durometers ranging from 30 to 95 (Shore A). They have superior properties at lower durometers and provide exceptional abrasion, tear, and cut resistance. Select grades also offer a high coefficient of friction for excellent traction, which enhances overall grip performance. Millathane® polymers are fully compatible with standard rubber equipment and mix and formulate with other materials to provide customized solutions.
