Dow Tops Best Workplaces List for Second Year in a Row
October 14, 2025
Dow is ranked first on the 2025 Best Workplaces in Manufacturing & Production™ list by Great Place to Work® and Fortune magazine. This is Dow’s second consecutive year in the top spot and the company’s fifth straight year on this highly competitive list, which uses a proprietary survey to evaluate and certify thousands of organizations in America’s largest ongoing annual workforce study.
As reported in Rubber World, the Best Workplaces in Manufacturing & Production™ list is based on an in-depth analysis of survey responses from nearly 107,000 employees. Great Place to Work®, the global authority on workplace culture, collected over 1.3 million survey responses and data from companies representing more than 8.4 million employees.
The survey responses painted a comprehensive picture of the workplace experience. Companies that were named to this prestigious list were selected based on their ability to offer positive outcomes for employees regardless of job role, race, gender, sexual orientation, or other demographic identifier. Dow is based in Midland, Michigan, and has global operations.
“This recognition is a reflection of Dow’s commitment to creating a culture of innovation and collaboration that propels global progress and enhances everyday life,” said Jim Fitterling, Dow chair and chief executive officer. “This achievement reflects not only our continued momentum, but also the genuine enthusiasm and pride our people feel,” added John Sampson, Dow senior vice president for manufacturing, engineering, and operations.
