“Optically Clear LSRs: A Guide to Advanced Elastomers” Webinar by RDAbbott (August 24)

Join us Tuesday, August 24, 2021, from 2:00 – 3:00 PM (ET) for “Optically Clear LSRs: A Guide to Advanced Elastomers,” a free webinar about Dow liquid silicone rubber (LSR) products for lighting. This live event is part of RDAbbott’s 2021 Webinar Series, which provides technical insights and processing recommendations from our supplier partners.

Why You Should Attend

Moldable optical silicones are becoming increasingly popular in automotive, architectural, outdoor, and general-purpose lighting applications. Fabricators, tool makers, and other members of the rubber industry who want to learn about these materials can get an in-depth look at how optically clear LSRs are molded into functional parts with unique properties.

What You Will Learn

The presenter, Jake Steinbrecher, is a Technical Service and Development Scientist with Dow. Jake will cover topics that include:

  • The benefits of using moldable optical silicones in lighting applications
  • The ability of optically clear LSRs to withstand rigorous conditions
  • How optical silicones are processed differently than standard LSRs
  • Technical details, optical terms, and how uncured materials become functioning parts

Follow this link to register now and reserve your spot. (Please note: Seats are limited for this webinar, so you’ll want to reserve your spot sooner than later.)

Is your calendar already booked during this time? Register now and you can watch on-demand later.

What Registrants Can Expect

All final registrants will receive access to the webinar recording, as well as additional post-event resources on this subject matter.
