Dow MobilityScience™ has launched an interactive 3D platform that explores advanced materials across key automotive systems, from electric vehicles to internal combustion engines. The tool provides a system-level approach that brings together Dow’s broad portfolio of material solutions for the transportation and automotive industries.
Dow has published an article in EV Design and Manufacturing that explains why silicones are instrumental in supporting EV battery performance and safety. Designers have a choice of thermal management and fire protection materials, but silicones combine thermal stability, high temperature resistance, and electrical insulation along with other critical characteristics.
Dow will exhibit and present at Battery Show North America 2023, the continent’s largest battery event for electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), from September 12 to 14 at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan. Dow will exhibit E-Mobility solutions in Booth 1901 and provide a technical presentation about thermal management for EV batteries on September 14.
