Cancarb Limited has published a Tensile Strength Distribution Technical Bulletin that shows how formulating nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) with Thermax® N990 improves dispersion quality and supports potential cost reductions. The study compared nine materials, including two Thermax® medium thermal carbon black materials, and used tensile strength distribution instead of optical instruments to evaluate dispersion quality.
Starting September 29, ARLANXEO is hosting a webinar series titled “Innovation x Sustainability.” Through December 15, ARLANXEO will hold 45-minute webinars each Thursday morning and evening that will cover a wide variety of topics on sustainable innovations. The technical presenters in this series will address future challenges facing the rubber industry and how ARLANXEO is working continuously to reduce its own emissions in the production and manufacturing of its products; is selecting responsible chemicals for compounding and sourcing bio-based raw ingredients to design longer-life and sustainable applications; is improving end-of-life solutions for rubber products; and can help you reduce the environmental footprint of your rubber products.
Global regulations, tire labeling, strict OE requirements, vehicle electrification, and customer expectations are driving advancements in tire applications. In this webinar, you’ll learn about material requirements vital for next-generation tire treads and recent product developments that address them. You’ll also learn how these product developments can be extended to non-tire applications, such as belting, anti-vibration bushings, roll covers, and rubber tracks which include blends with other elastomers like NR, SBR, CR and NBR.
In this video presentation, RDAbbott’s Special Projects Manager Tom Martin provides an overview of the technical services and elastomer products RDAbbott provides, as well as highlights a few new rubber technologies impacting the transportation industry.
RDAbbott has signed an exclusive agreement with ARLANXEO Performance Elastomers to distribute select ARLANXEO polymers throughout all of Mexico.
