RDAbbott Hires Lincoln Gilmour as Canada Sales and Business Manager

RDAbbott has hired Lincoln Gilmour as its Canada Sales and Business Manager. Lincoln brings more than 20 years of experience in sales leadership, business development and product management in both the adhesives and coatings markets.
A graduate of McMaster University (Hamilton, Ontario), Lincoln earned a degree in Chemical Engineering and began his career as a Technical Service Representative for Henkel Canada in Mississauga. Later, he worked for the company’s Adhesives Technology Division as a Senior Sales Engineer and supported challenging requirements for automotive, electronics and industrial customers.
From 2010 to 2015, as a Product Manager for Quadra Chemicals, he managed a portfolio that included LORD Chemlok®, structural adhesives, automotive coatings, mold release and polyurea chemical coatings. He also propelled significant revenue growth in both Ontario and Quebec.
Next, Lincoln developed a new Chemical Coatings Division for a Canadian based provider of rubber linings. As Strategic Project Manager, he built a network of coatings applicators across Canada and managed the company’s lining applications facility. Lincoln is also a member of the Ontario Rubber Group, the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers and NACE International.
