The Detroit Rubber Group will host its Fall Technical Meeting on Thursday, October 23, at Airboss of America Corporation’s Auburn Hills facility, The event runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (ET) and includes technical presentations and a tour of Airboss’ manufacturing facility. Steve Griffin, RDAbbott’s Director of Business Development, will be one of the featured presenters and will share insights on Conductive Silicone Technology.

The Los Angeles Rubber Group (TLARGI) will host its annual Technical Conference, Oktoberfest, and Mini Expo on Tuesday, October 7, at the Brea Community Center in Brea, California. The Technical Conference kicks off at 1:00 PM and includes a presentation by RDAbbott’s Rick Ziebell on Conductive Silicone Technology. Then, starting at 5:00 PM, the Oktoberfest and Mini Expo will begin— marking the first time RDAbbott and its manufacturing subsidiary, NovationSi, will be exhibiting side by side at this event.

The Ohio Rubber Group will hold its Fall Technical Meeting on Tuesday, September 23, at the Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland/Twinsburg in Twinsburg, Ohio. The event runs from 4:00 to 9:00 PM and includes technical presentations, a social hour, and dinner. Steve Griffin, RDAbbott’s Director of Business Development, is one of the presenters and will discuss Conductive Silicone Technology.

Join us on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, for the Ontario Rubber Group Spring Technical Meeting at the Mississauga Grand Banquet & Event Center in Mississauga, Ontario. Running from 10:30 AM to 2:30 PM, this event will feature expert presentations on a variety of topics, including industry tariffs, rubber process analyzers, and recycled carbon black. Among the featured speakers, RDAbbott’s Director of Business Development, Steve Griffin, will share the latest advancements in conductive silicone elastomers.

Join us for the Detroit Rubber Group (DRG) Spring Technical Meeting on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Wacker Chemical Corporation’s North American Innovation Center & Regional Headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

RDAbbott’s Cristina DiFranco will present “Elastomer-to-Metal Adhesion: Best Practices for Adhesive Mixing and Application” at the Quebec Rubber Group’s Technical-Commercial Dinner on October 24, 2024. The focus is Chemlok® rubber-to-substrate vulcanizing adhesives, and the content will be similar to previous events that RDAbbott has hosted in collaboration with Parker Lord.

Three more RDAbbott leaders have been nominated for an Honorary Lifetime Membership in The Los Angeles Rubber Group, Inc. (TLARGI). The nominees are Keith Thomas, RDAbbott’s CEO; Rick Ziebell, Vice President of Technology and Technical Fellow; and Russ Shorter, Senior Account Manager. TLARGI announced the nominations at its annual Christmas Party, on December 3, 2023.

RDAbbott plans to attend the 2023 Spring Technical Meeting of the Rubber Division, ACS, a division of the American Chemical Society. This year’s event is scheduled for April 25 through April 27 at the Marriott Cleveland East in Warrensville Heights, Ohio, near the popular Beachwood area.

RDAbbott will showcase its extensive portfolio of elastomer products and technologies at the International Elastomers Conference (IEC), an industry-leading event hosted by the Rubber Division, ACS in Knoxville, Tennessee, from October 10 to 13 (Booth 613). RDAbbott will also highlight the capabilities of its supplier partners who are exhibiting and, in some cases, presenting technical papers during IEC’s Technical Conference.
