Live at MD&M West 2020 in Anaheim, California. We’re featuring a custom-designed flying disc over-molded with 50-durometer Dow SILASTIC™ Low Temperature Cure (LTC) 9400 Series Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR).
RDAbbott will demonstrate a revolutionary application for overmolding liquid silicone rubber (LSR) at MD&M West this year. RDAbbott, in partnership with M.R. Mold & Engineering Corp., will showcase a production cell where 50-durometer Dow SILASTIC™ LTC 9400 LSR, a low-temperature curing (LTC) elastomer for high-volume injection molding, is overmolded onto a custom-designed flying disc. Historically, LSR overmolding onto low-melting-point plastics and other thermally-sensitive components, such as electronics, has not been possible because of the high curing temperatures required.
RDAbbott is proud to announce its partnership with M.R. Mold & Engineering in Booth 1346 at MD&M West in Anaheim, California, February 11 – 13, 2020, featuring a custom-designed plastic flying disc over-molded with 50-durometer Dow SILASTIC™ Low Temperature Cure (LTC) 9400 Series Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR).
RDAbbott is proud to announce its partnership with Toshiba Machine in Hall 15, Booth B04, at the K 2019 in Germany to produce an automotive LED headlamp optic made of Dow SILASTIC™ MS-1002 Moldable Optical Silicone. All participating partners in this collaborative production cell include: Toshiba Machines, EPF Automation, Dow, ELMET, M.R. Mold & Engineering, Frigel, Yushin America, Inc., LumenFlow Corp., and RDAbbott.
