Join RDAbbott and Dow for an exclusive Lunch n’ Learn at RDAbbott’s Service Center in Barberton, Ohio, on March 24, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM (ET). This collaborative event brings together industry-leading experts and equipment partners from Sodick, Roembke, and Nexus to showcase the latest advancements in medical-grade silicone elastomers and processing technologies.

Dow has published an article in EV Design and Manufacturing that explains why silicones are instrumental in supporting EV battery performance and safety. Designers have a choice of thermal management and fire protection materials, but silicones combine thermal stability, high temperature resistance, and electrical insulation along with other critical characteristics.

Rick Ziebell, RDAbbott’s Technical Fellow, will be an instructor for Silicone Elastomers Technology and Fabrication, an expert-led course from M.R. Toub Training, scheduled for February 9 – 12, 2026, from 8 AM to 5 PM (PT) each day. This university-accredited course will provide participants with continuing education credits from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
