Cancarb Limited has published a new data sheet that explains why grades of its Thermax® Powder are used in high-temperature furnaces and reactors. These medium thermal carbon blacks combine low thermal conductivity with high carbon purity, chemical inertness, low combustibility, and heat resistance up to 3200°C. They also cost less than synthetic graphite and carbon felts.
