The Detroit Rubber Group will host its Fall Technical Meeting on Thursday, October 23, at Airboss of America Corporation’s Auburn Hills facility, The event runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (ET) and includes technical presentations and a tour of Airboss’ manufacturing facility. Steve Griffin, RDAbbott’s Director of Business Development, will be one of the featured presenters and will share insights on Conductive Silicone Technology.

The Ohio Rubber Group will hold its Fall Technical Meeting on Tuesday, September 23, at the Hilton Garden Inn Cleveland/Twinsburg in Twinsburg, Ohio. The event runs from 4:00 to 9:00 PM and includes technical presentations, a social hour, and dinner. Steve Griffin, RDAbbott’s Director of Business Development, is one of the presenters and will discuss Conductive Silicone Technology.

RDAbbott has hired Sean Djuricic as Account Manager for outside sales starting with the U.S. West Coast. Sean is a rubber industry professional with 20+ years of sales and marketing experience. Previously, Sean was the sales and marketing manager for Akron Rubber Development Laboratory, Inc. (ARDL), which provides testing and development services to the rubber and plastic industries.

RDAbbott has named Jason Huff, a rubber and plastics industry professional with 20+ years of experience, as Senior Account Manager for the Midwestern United States. From research and development to global technical service and providing value-added solutions, Huff has exceled in a variety of roles and brings extensive knowledge of polymer molding and processing—including specific expertise in polymer-to-substrate adhesives and mold release agents.

RDAbbott’s Krista Toutant, a global sales and marketing professional with 18 years of focused experience in the rubber industry, has been elected Secretary for the Rubber Division of the American Chemical Society (ACS), an international association of elastomer industry professionals. The election marks the start of Toutant’s five-year progression to becoming Chair of the Executive Committee, Rubber Division’s governing body.
