Cancarb Limited has published a Technical Bulletin that shows how Thermax® N990, a medium thermal carbon black, improves compounding and boosts the performance of EPDM gaskets for polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) fuel cells. The benefits of adding Thermax® N990 to EPDM include good compression set, low-temperature flexibility, and increased resistance to heat and chemicals.
