RDAbbott is announcing the retirement of Scott Legleu, a rubber industry veteran with 43 years of service. Scott joined RDAbbott as a Business Development Manager in 2017 but began his rubber industry career decades earlier after working as a schoolteacher in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Colleagues from across the industry and throughout Scott’s long and successful career describe him as honest, helpful, kind, and a good listener.

RDAbbott plans to attend the 2023 Spring Technical Meeting of the Rubber Division, ACS, a division of the American Chemical Society. This year’s event is scheduled for April 25 through April 27 at the Marriott Cleveland East in Warrensville Heights, Ohio, near the popular Beachwood area.

RDAbbott will reconnect with customers and colleagues at the International Elastomers Conference (IEC) hosted by the Rubber Division, ACS in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, from October 4 to 6 in Booth 1933. Members of the RDAbbott team will highlight the company’s capabilities and those of its supplier partners.

Last year’s in-person spring meeting was canceled because of the coronavirus.

This is the 199th technical meeting by the Rubber Division, which is part of the American Chemical Society (ACS). For RDAbbott and other members of the rubber industry, it’s an important opportunity to reconnect with customers and colleagues after the cancelation of last year’s in-person spring meeting because of the coronavirus.
