This university-accredited course will provide participants with continuing education credits from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
Students from various Summit County high schools in Ohio recently visited RDAbbott and NovationSi for a facilities tour and overview of careers in the rubber industry. On March 21st, RDAbbott’s Service Center in Barberton, Ohio, hosted 21 students from the Industrial Maintenance and Production for Employment program at Stow-Munroe Falls High School. David Helmick, IMPE technology instructor and transitional work experience coordinator, also participated in the field trip.

The in-person event is scheduled for April 5 to April 8, 2022. The course locations are the Kellogg West Conference Center and Hotel in Pomona, California, and M.R. Mold & Engineering, site of a one-day field trip, in nearby Brea, California.

RDAbbott will reconnect with customers and colleagues at the Spring Technical Meeting for Rubber Division, ACS on Tuesday, April 27, and Wednesday, April 28. RDAbbott will attend technical meetings and share tabletop exhibits at this hybrid event, which will be held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton, Cleveland Rockside, in Independence, Ohio. Last year’s in-person spring meeting was canceled because of the coronavirus.
Rubber Division, ACS will hold its Spring Technical Meeting from April 27 to 29, 2021, at the Embassy Suites by Hilton, Cleveland Rockside, in Independence, Ohio. This is the 199th technical meeting by the Rubber Division, which is part of the American Chemical Society (ACS). For RDAbbott and other members of the rubber industry, it’s an important opportunity to reconnect with customers and colleagues after the cancelation of last year’s in-person spring meeting because of the coronavirus.
