On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (ET), RDAbbott is hosting a free technical training at our Barberton, Ohio, facility featuring Chemlok® rubber-to-substrate adhesives from Parker Lord. During this in-person event, Parker Lord Technical Field Service Engineer JR Nordstrom will review the rubber-to-substrate bonding process from start to finish. This review will include proper substrate preparation, adhesive preparation and application techniques, coated part handling, and molding best practices. The training will then transition into a troubleshooting workshop where failed parts are studied for bond failures and preventative actions.

RDAbbott is co-hosting four in-person Chemlok training events in 2026 with Parker Lord. Additionally, Parker Lord will host two in-person training events at their Erie, Pennsylvania, facility, as well as four virtual training courses.

Join us August 26 – 28, 2025, in Barberton, Ohio, for “Manufacturing with Silicone Rubber,” a comprehensive workshop hosted by RDAbbott from a fabricator’s point-of-view. There’s also an optional training opportunity on August 29 for one-on-one discussions with instructors and deeper dives into process development.
