Parker has launched CHEMLOK® NX-100, a next-generation covercoat adhesive that bonds elastomers to substrates during vulcanization while supporting greater environmental sustainability and improved regulatory compliance. This new topcoat adhesive bonds NR, SBR, CR, and EPDM polymers to metals and other rigid substrates without the use of chlorinated solvents that raise EHS concerns.

These medium thermal carbon blacks combine low thermal conductivity with high carbon purity, chemical inertness, low combustibility, and heat resistance up to 3200°C. Cancarb is underscoring its commitment to sustainability by installing 7,000 solar panels near its carbon black plant in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. Hallstar has developed a new line of polymeric plasticizers for fluoroelastomer (FKM) compounds, a class of high-performance materials that are challenging to plasticize because of their fluorinated backbones. Plasthall® P-920 and its dry version, Suprmix® Plasthall® P-20, act as processing aids and reduce viscosity with minimal impact on tensile properties. They enhance extrusion efficiency by lowering Mooney viscosity, which reduces torque and energy consumption.
