“Chemlok® Overview, Best Practices and Troubleshooting” Webinar by RDAbbott (May 19)

On Wednesday, May 19, 2020, from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM (ET), RDAbbott is hosting a free training webinar titled, “Chemlok® Overview, Best Practices and Troubleshooting,” that will feature rubber-to-substrate adhesives from Parker LORD.
In this live webinar, Parker LORD Senior Scientist Jeff Means and Application Engineer Cristina DiFranco, will focus on proper substrate preparation, adhesive application, and molding best practices. They will also facilitate an interactive workshop, using webinar polls, for troubleshooting bond failures.

About the Presenters
Jeff Means is in his 31st year of technical service, providing auditing, operator training, new product introduction and troubleshooting for Parker LORD’s Chemlok® product line. He is active in the Energy Polymer Group, Polyurethane Manufacturer Association, Rubber Roller Group, and other rubber groups throughout the regions. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in General Science from Clarion University in 1985 and resides in Erie, Pennsylvania, with his wife, 3 children and 1 granddaughter. In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking, kayaking, bicycling, and spoiling his granddaughter!
Cristina DiFranco is an Application Engineer with the Parker LORD Application Engineering team based in Erie, PA. Her role is focused on working with customers to troubleshoot bond failures, optimize bonding processes, and select suitable adhesive products for rubber-to-substrate applications. She leads customer training sessions several times a year for the Chemlok® Academy held on-site in Erie. She graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and a concentration in Polymer Science. Her passion is helping customers implement adhesive solutions to create innovative products.
