RDAbbott’s Rick Ziebell, will be an instructor at M.R. Toub Training’s “Silicone Elastomers Technology and Fabrication Course.” This four-day, university-accredited course will provide participants with 3.2 continuing education credits from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. The in-person event is scheduled for April 5 to April 8, 2022. The course locations are the Kellogg West Conference Center and Hotel in Pomona, California, and M.R. Mold & Engineering, site of a one-day field trip, in nearby Brea, California.

On Wednesday, March 2 at 9:00 AM (ET) Parker LORD is hosting a live webinar covering key areas where Chemlok® technology is used and how you can implement them to enhance your EV solutions.

RDAbbott is hosting a free training webinar titled, “Chemlok® Application and Troubleshooting,” that will feature rubber-to-substrate adhesives from Parker LORD. In this live webinar, Parker LORD Senior Scientist Jeff Means and Application Engineer Cristina DiFranco will focus on proper substrate preparation, adhesive application, and molding best practices. The training will also include a prerecorded workshop for troubleshooting bond failures.

RDAbbott is honoring Manfred “Fred” Hammers, a Senior Account Manager whose 50+ years career ended with his retirement on December 31, 2021, after 18 years with the company. Fred joined RDAbbott as a Technical Service Representative in 2004 after spending many years in the rubber, latex, and adhesives industry as a Technical and Production Manager. Fred’s colleagues and former co-workers recently shared their memories of him in a tribute that attests to his professional knowledge and personal character.
