Cancarb Limited has published a new data sheet that explains why grades of its Thermax® Powder are used in high-temperature furnaces and reactors. These medium thermal carbon blacks combine low thermal conductivity with high carbon purity, chemical inertness, low combustibility, and heat resistance up to 3200°C. Cancarb is underscoring its commitment to sustainability by installing 7,000 solar panels near its carbon black plant in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. The project will provide the production facility with approximately 3.5 MW of renewable energy and supports the sustainability goals of Cancarb’s parent company and its customers.
