Five grades of PremiX® polymer-bound materials from RDC meet the EU’s Seveso III (2012/18/EU) Directive for hazardous substances. That makes these products safer, easier and less expensive to ship, store, and handle. The five grades are PremiX® ZNO 80, PremiX® ZNO Active, PremiX® CBS 80, PremiX® TBBS 80, and PremiX® MBTS 80.

Join us August 15 – 18 in Barberton, Ohio, for “Manufacturing with Silicone Rubber,” a comprehensive workshop hosted by RDAbbott from a fabricator’s point-of-view. Attendees of this four-day workshop will learn practical techniques, testing methods, and insights, plus equipment troubleshooting tips for processing silicone rubber, from industry professionals through a combination of classroom instruction and interactive workshops.

RDAbbott recently hosted a webinar titled “The ABCs of RDC: Rubber Dispersion Chemicals.” This 25-minute presentation about leading products and new solutions from RDC S.r.l. was livestreamed on March 30, 2023.

This live event will also highlight VEAFLAME, a new halogen-free flame retardant that provides compounders with a safer and healthier alternative to antimony trioxide and borate salts.

Starting February 23, RDAbbott will launch its 2023 webinar series that will feature technical insights, material updates, and processing recommendations from our supplier partners throughout the year.

RDAbbott and NovationSi are collaborating with FiteBac Dental, a manufacturer of patented antimicrobial compounds and additives for dentistry and medicine, to provide broad-spectrum antimicrobial protection in silicone and synthetic elastomers. Together, these companies are synergizing the effectiveness of FiteBac’s non-leaching, durable and persistent bactericidal, fungicidal, and virucidal technology in synthetic and silicone polymer systems for use in revolutionary medical and dental devices.

FiteBac Dental, manufacturer of patented antimicrobial compounds and additives for dentistry and medicine, partners with RDAbbott and NovationSi to synergize the effectiveness of FiteBac’s non-leaching, durable and persistent bactericidal, fungicidal, and virucidal in synthetic and silicone polymer systems for revolutionary medical and dental devices.

Starting in March, RDAbbott will be launching a webinar series featuring products from many of our supplier partners. These webinars will provide technical insights and processing recommendations, as well as feature new products and technologies.
