“Chemlok® Overview, Best Practices, and Troubleshooting” Training Hosted by RDAbbott in Boucherville, QC, Canada (May 14)

On Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM (ET), RDAbbott is hosting a free technical training featuring Chemlok® rubber-to-substrate adhesives from Parker Lord at Hôtel Mortagne, located at 1228, rue Nobel, Boucherville, Québec J4B 5H1.
During this in-person event, Parker Lord Technical Field Service Engineer Joseph (JR) Nordstrom will review the rubber-to-substrate bonding process from start to finish. This review will include:
- Proper substrate preparation
- Adhesive preparation and application techniques
- Coated part handling
- Molding best practices
The training will then transition into a troubleshooting workshop where failed parts are studied for bond failures and preventative actions.

About the Featured Presenter
Joseph (JR) Nordstrom is a Technical Support Engineer at Parker Lord, where he has worked for 24 years, with the last 6 years in his current role. His extensive experience with the company includes significant time in the Chemical division, where he held various roles in Product Quality and Facility EHS. In his current role, JR supports customers through training, production process efficiency evaluations, failure mode analysis, and assists with product selection to ensure end products meet performance specifications and enhance process efficiencies.
