In this 2-minute video, Parker Lord Scientist Jeff Matts provides a seaming demonstration on how to apply Parker Lord’s new Chemlok® Cold-Bond (CB) 150 Adhesive to bond rubber to rubber. Chemlok® CB 150 Adhesive is a one-part system developed by Parker Lord which bonds vulcanized rubber-to-rubber and rubber-to-metal at ambient temperatures.

Parker LORD has launched a web page that explains how its Chemlok® rubber-to-substrate bonding products are used in electric vehicles. This new resource includes an overview video, information about adhesives and coatings for weatherstripping and glass, information about dielectric coatings for battery packs, and explanations of how Chemlok® products are used in motor mounts and suspension parts.

RDAbbott is hosting a free training webinar titled, “Chemlok® Application and Troubleshooting,” that will feature rubber-to-substrate adhesives from Parker LORD. In this live webinar, Parker LORD Senior Scientist Jeff Means and Application Engineer Cristina DiFranco will focus on proper substrate preparation, adhesive application, and molding best practices. The training will also include a prerecorded workshop for troubleshooting bond failures.

RDAbbott is now distributing Parker LORD products to even more locations across North America. Under a new distribution agreement that became effective on November 1, RDAbbott began stocking Parker LORD materials at its Barberton, Ohio, service center for shipment to customers in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
