Cancarb Limited celebrated its 50th anniversary this year with a $50,000 donation to the Cancarb Employee and Alumni Endowment Fund at the Community Foundation of Southeastern Alberta (CFSA).

RDAbbott has joined forces with Cancarb Limited as its exclusive distributor for Thermax® brand medium thermal carbon black in Mexico. This strategic agreement, effective June 25, 2023, aims to expand market presence and deliver exceptional technical support to customers. RDAbbott’s Mexico subsidiary, RDAbbott de México S. de R.L. de C.V., will facilitate and manage the distribution operations locally. RDAbbott has represented Cancarb products in the United States and Canada since 2017.

RDAbbott has hired Humberto Ibáñez as Senior Account Manager for R.D. Abbott de México. Ibáñez joined RDAbbott’s México subsidiary on June 6, 2023, and is responsible for developing business relationships, fostering sales growth, and providing technical support to customers in México. Ibáñez brings strong technical sales skills to his new role and has many years of experience selling Cancarb Limited’s Thermax® brand medium thermal carbon blacks.

RDAbbott has hired Gabriel Rodriguez as Senior Account Manager for R.D. Abbott de México. Rodriguez joined RDAbbott’s Mexico subsidiary on January 1, 2023, and is responsible for developing business relationships, fostering sales growth, and providing technical support to customers in the northern territories of México.

RDAbbott recently entered into an agreement with LORD Corporation, a recognized leader in highly reliable adhesives and coatings, to distribute LORD® In-Mold Bonding (IMB™) Adhesives in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

RDAbbott has signed a new distribution agreement with an affiliate of Kraton Performance Polymers, Inc., a leading global producer of styrenic block copolymers, to distribute Cariflex™ isoprene rubbers* to manufacturers and fabricators in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
