Cancarb Earns 2024 EcoVadis Sustainability Leadership Award

Cancarb Limited has earned a 2024 Sustainability Leadership Award from EcoVadis, a global provider of corporate and environmental scorecards. Cancarb received a Platinum Sustainability Rating from EcoVadis in 2021 and in 2023. EcoVadis’ Sustainability Leadership Award recognizes small and medium enterprises who are leaders in sustainable business practices.

Cancarb’s platinum rating is the highest possible sustainability rating from EcoVadis, an organization that rates over 100,000 suppliers worldwide. Companies who receive a Platinum Sustainability Rating are in the top 1% of businesses that EcoVadis assesses.

Cancarb is based in Medicine Hat Alberta, Canada, and makes Thermax^® medium thermal carbon black, a functional filler that can improve dispersion, decrease mixing energy, and extend the compound without sacrificing important physical properties. RDAbbott has represented Cancarb products in the United States and Canada since 2017. Last year, RDAbbott became the exclusive distributor for Thermax^® brand medium thermal carbon black in Mexico.
