RDAbbott will demonstrate a revolutionary application for overmolding liquid silicone rubber (LSR) at MD&M West this year. RDAbbott, in partnership with M.R. Mold & Engineering Corp., will showcase a production cell where 50-durometer Dow SILASTIC™ LTC 9400 LSR, a low-temperature curing (LTC) elastomer for high-volume injection molding, is overmolded onto a custom-designed flying disc. Historically, LSR overmolding onto low-melting-point plastics and other thermally-sensitive components, such as electronics, has not been possible because of the high curing temperatures required.
We invite you to join us at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee (UWM) School of Continuing Education’s 2020 Silicone Elastomers Technology and Fabrication Course from February 17-20 at the Embassy Suites in Anaheim, CA.
We are looking forward to presenting at the Smithers Rapra Silicone Elastomers World Summit November 26-27 in Vienna, Austria.
ProMed Molded Products is celebrating their 30th anniversary with an Open House from noon to 4:00 PM at their headquarters in Plymouth, Minnesota. This exclusive event, co-sponsored by RDAbbott, will feature an innovation tour, learning seminars, lunch and refreshments.
Join us at LSR 2019 September 9 – 12, 2019, at the Chicago Marriott Schaumburg in Schaumburg, Illinois. RDAbbott will be co-exhibiting with Dow to feature the latest advancements in silicone materials and technologies.
