In a recent press release, NovationSi announced a newly developed HCR healthcare compounds that enhances electrical properties of silicone rubber, using patent-pending technologies that incorporate a revolutionary single-wall carbon nanotube (“SG101”) developed by Zeon Corporation.

RDAbbott and Dow recently sponsored a Rubber & Plastics News “Ask the Expert” livestream presentation on “Optical Silicone Advances.” A recording of this presentation is now available on-demand.

RDAbbott will deliver a technical presentation about innovative silicone additives technologies and host an “Ask the Expert” session highlighting optical silicone advances during the 2020 International Silicone Conference. The International Silicone Conference is a biennial event that will feature a virtual edition this year.

RDAbbott will provide the instructors for The Los Angeles Rubber Group’s (TLARGI) 2020 Basic Rubber Technology Course. RDAbbott’s Rick Ziebell, Technical Fellow and Vice President of Technology, and Matt Rogers, Applications Engineering and Technical Support, will lead this 15-week course that begins on August 27th and ends on December 17th. The course consists of live weekly webinars that will be held on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 PM (Pacific Time).
