Starting February 23, RDAbbott will launch its 2023 webinar series that will feature technical insights, material updates, and processing recommendations from our supplier partners throughout the year.

Thanks to a monetary contribution by Cancarb Limited, 16 trees were added to Lions Park in Redcliff, Alberta, Canada. Cancarb also volunteered its employees to assist with planting the trees alongside fellow townsmen.

RDAbbott recently hosted a webinar titled “Benefits of Thermax® N990 to Rubber Compounding.” This 53-minute presentation about Cancarb Thermax® N990 thermal carbon black was livestreamed on April 28, 2022. It is part of RDAbbott’s 2022 Webinar Series, which provided technical insights and processing recommendations from its supplier partners.

Cancarb makes a thermal carbon black, Thermax® N990CG, with low levels of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), substances that are listed as carcinogens. Production of this rubber additive also helps Cancarb’s local community to reduce its fossil fuel consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.

Cancarb has launched Thermax® N990CG, a low PAH grade of thermal carbon black that gives customers the ability to minimize the amount of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) in their products without sacrificing quality and performance.

Cancarb Limited has released a new video that shows its commitment to its local community of Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. After partnering with a local foodbank to deliver food to residents in need, Cancarb purchased a greenhouse and is using it to further support the food bank’s efforts.

Cancarb Limited has been awarded a platinum sustainability rating from EcoVadis, a global provider of scorecards for corporate and environmental sustainability. Cancarb’s new rating indicates that the company is in the top 1% of its industry for the sustainable production of carbon black, which is added to thermoplastics and can contribute color, opacity, electrical resistivity, and protection from ultra-violet degradation.
