“Chemlok® Overview, Best Practices, and Troubleshooting” Training Hosted by RDAbbott in Buena Park, CA (October 7)

On Wednesday, October 7, 2026, from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (PT), RDAbbott is hosting a free technical training featuring Chemlok® rubber-to-substrate adhesives from Parker Lord in Buena Park, California.

During this in-person event, Parker Lord Chemical Application Engineer Darrel Taylor will review the rubber-to-substrate bonding process from start to finish. This review will include:
- Proper substrate preparation
- Adhesive preparation and application techniques
- Coated part handling
- Molding best practices
The training will then transition into a troubleshooting workshop where failed parts are studied for bond failures and preventative actions.

About the Featured Presenter
Darrel Taylor is an experienced Application Engineer with a long history in engineering roles at Parker LORD and its affiliated operations within Parker Hannifin. He began his career with LORD Corporation in the early 1990s and has held positions including Senior Technologist in Engineering and Application Engineer before advancing into broader application support roles. Over three decades in industrial and mechanical engineering, Darrel has supported material and process solutions for customers across industries, leveraging deep technical knowledge in adhesives, coatings, vibration control, and related engineered materials. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Engineering Administration from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
