RDAbbott plans to attend the 2023 Spring Technical Meeting of the Rubber Division, ACS, a division of the American Chemical Society. This year’s event is scheduled for April 25 through April 27 at the Marriott Cleveland East in Warrensville Heights, Ohio, near the popular Beachwood area.

This live event will also highlight VEAFLAME, a new halogen-free flame retardant that provides compounders with a safer and healthier alternative to antimony trioxide and borate salts.

Join us on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, from 12:00 – 1:00 PM (ET) for a Women of Rubber Division (WORD) Conversation with Krista Toutant, Business Line Manager at RDAbbott and Chair-elect of Rubber Division, ACS. This free, online event will highlight a discussion between Krista, the featured guest, and Terry DeLapa, the first-ever woman Chair in the Rubber Division’s 100-year history.

Starting February 23, RDAbbott will launch its 2023 webinar series that will feature technical insights, material updates, and processing recommendations from our supplier partners throughout the year.

Rick Ziebell, RDAbbott’s Vice President of Technology and Technical Fellow, will be an instructor for Silicone Elastomers Technology and Fabrication, an in-person course from M.R. Toub Training, scheduled for January 31 to February 3, 2022. This university-accredited course will provide participants with 3.2 continuing education credits from California Polytechnic State University.

On Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at 10:00 AM (EST) Mining Magazine is hosting a free webinar to provide a comprehensive overview of the features, benefits, and ideal applications of Parker Lord’s new Chemlok® Cold-Bond 150 Adhesive one-part system.

Parker Lord is hosting a free virtual training event featuring its Chemlok® rubber-to-substrate adhesives on December 6 at 11 AM (EST). Parker Lord Senior Scientist Jeff Means and Application Engineer Cristina DiFranco will provide the technical training. This virtual training will consist of two, one-hour pre-recorded training sessions followed by a live question-and-answer session with each presenter. The first training session will focus on proper substrate preparation, adhesive preparation and application techniques, coated part handling, and molding best practices. The second training session will focus on troubleshooting bond failures and preventative actions.

On Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 9:00 AM (EST) Parker Lord is hosting a webinar to share the benefits of dielectric coatings for EV battery packs. Attend this session for an overview of Sipiol® UV product properties, applications, and performance data.
