Event Overview
Join RDAbbott and Dow for an exclusive Lunch n’ Learn at RDAbbott’s Service Center in Barberton, Ohio. This collaborative, one-day event will bring together industry-leading experts and equipment partners to showcase the latest advancements in medical-grade silicone elastomers and processing technologies.
Highlights include:
- Presentations from Roembke Mfg. & Design, Sodick IMM by Plustech Inc., Nexus Elastomer Systems, Dow, NovationSi, and RDAbbott
- A live liquid injection molding demonstration featuring Dow’s SILASTIC™ RBL-9200 LSR and NovationSi’s NovaSperse® Healthcare color dispersions.
- A guided tour of RDAbbott’s Service Center.
- Networking and complimentary lunch with peers and experts in silicone processing.

Dow will showcase select grades of its silicone elastomer materials that meet ISO 10993 and Class VI standards, such as:
- SILASTIC™ RBL-2004 and SILASTIC™ RBL-9200 LSR
- SILASTIC™ 7595-40 LSR
- XIAMETER™ RBB-2000-35 and XIAMETER™ RBB-2001-65 High Consistency Rubber (HCR) Base

Binbin Luo is a Technical Service & Development Scientist at Dow, specializing in liquid silicone elastomers. Since joining Dow, Binbin has led innovation across silicone technologies, including advancements in adhesion science, material processing, and application development for various markets. He actively engages with customers through technical training and problem-solving. Binbin holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a B.S. in Material Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China.

Craig Lustek, LSR Application / Business Development Engineer for RDAbbott
Craig Lustek has more than 20 years of experience in process engineering, research and development, product management and manufacturing. Before joining RDAbbott, Craig was an Application Engineer for one of the world’s largest manufacturers of plastics injection molding machines (IMM). He has also worked as a Process Engineer for a supplier of silicone Liquid Injection Molding Machines (LIMs). As an RDAbbott Application Engineer, Craig shares his in-depth knowledge of LIMs by developing technical resources and procedures, defining optimal IMM processes and setups, consulting with customers, and training key personnel.

Mike has over 20 years of experience in the LSR industry and has a strong technical sales and business development background, particularly in LSR meter-mix-dispense technologies. Mike also brings experience in other material processing, such as RTVs, epoxies, urethanes, composites and foams, to name a few.
