German RepRap’s new L320 Liquid Additive Manufacturing (LAM) 3D printer is a real “Game Changer” for 3D printing with liquid silicone rubber.

LORD® In-Mold Bonding (IMB™) liquid silicone rubber (LSR) adhesives are non-tacky polymer-based coatings that when applied to a substrate provide a structural bond to a rigid or elastomeric polymer, which is formed under heat and pressure. LORD IMB 3000 series adhesives are designed for bonding platinum-cured silicone rubber to a variety of thermoplastic and metal substrates during the injection molding process.

RDAbbott has hired Craig Lustek as their next application engineer. Craig has more than 20 years of experience in process engineering, research and development, product management and manufacturing with suppliers of elastomers and processing equipment.

RDAbbott is reducing environmental pollution, energy consumption, and landfillable waste by implementing recycling initiatives, increasing lighting efficiency, and minimizing waste streams. Along with reducing its use of resources, the California-based company envisions future efforts to reduce its carbon footprint through the addition of LED lighting.
