TLARGI will be hosting its annual Technical Conference, Oktoberfest, and Mini Expo on Tuesday, October 4, at the Alta Vista Country Club in Placentia, California. RDAbbott is a co-organizer, sponsor, and exhibitor for LSR 2022, the premiere conference about liquid silicone rubber (LSR), which can be used with liquid injection molding (LIM) to produce high-quality silicone parts. This year’s event is scheduled for September 13 – 15, 2022, in Irvine, California, and will include technical presentations by RDAbbott and several of its supplier partners. RDAbbott will also participate in a panel discussion about LSR Processing.

Plan to join RDAbbott at LSR 2022, the premiere conference about liquid silicone rubber (LSR), in Irvine, California, from September 13 – 15. RDAbbott is an organizer, co-sponsor, and co-exhibitor for this event, which will include technical presentations by RDAbbott and two of our supplier partners: Dow and DuPont. RDAbbott will also moderate a panel discussion about LSR processing and interact with attendees in its shared exhibit space with Dow.

RDAbbott has successfully moved its headquarters from Cerritos, California, to our new location at 11958 Monarch Street in Garden Grove. Although we moved just eight miles, the effort was considerable, and the results demonstrated the value of teamwork.

RDAbbott’s Rick Ziebell, will be an instructor at M.R. Toub Training’s “Silicone Elastomers Technology and Fabrication Course.” This four-day, university-accredited course will provide participants with 3.2 continuing education credits from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. The in-person event is scheduled for April 5 to April 8, 2022. The course locations are the Kellogg West Conference Center and Hotel in Pomona, California, and M.R. Mold & Engineering, site of a one-day field trip, in nearby Brea, California.

Rick Ziebell, RDAbbott’s Vice President of Technology and Technical Fellow, will be an instructor for Silicone Elastomers Technology and Fabrication, an in-person course from M.R. Toub Training, scheduled for April 5 to 8, 2022. This university-accredited course will provide participants with 3.2 continuing education credits from California Polytechnic State University.

As you’ve likely heard, RDAbbott’s Service Center in Cerritos, California, is relocating to Garden Grove, California (just 8 miles from its current location). Our new address will be 11958 Monarch Street Garden Grove, CA 92841.

RDAbbott recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the headquarters for NovationSi, its manufacturing subsidiary, at 25 Foundation Place in Barberton, Ohio. The 127,126 sq. ft. facility is also the Northeast hub for RDAbbott. The ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Friday, October 8, 2021, at 8:30 AM and followed by guided tours.
