In this recording, Rick Ziebell introduces revolutionary NovaSperse® Third-Stream Modifier technologies from NovationSi that are breaking new ground for modifying LSR properties during the liquid injection molding process, as well as enhancing HCR using other fabrication processes.
RDAbbott is launching a new webinar series that will provide technical insights and processing recommendations, feature new products and technologies, and showcase solutions from supplier partners. The first webinar in this free series, “Third-Stream Additives that Modify LSR and HCR,” is scheduled for Tuesday, March 30, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM (PT) and will explain how RDAbbott and NovationSi, with its revolutionary NovaSperse® third-stream modifier technologies, are advancing ways to change the functional properties of cured articles in situ of the liquid injection molding process.
On Tuesday, March 30, 2020, from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM (ET), RDAbbott is hosting a free webinar on “Third-Stream Additives that Modify LSR and HCR.” In this live event, Rick Ziebell, RDAbbott’s Technical Fellow and Vice President of Technology, will introduce revolutionary NovaSperse® Third-Stream Modifier technologies from NovationSi that are breaking new ground for modifying LSR properties during the liquid injection molding (LIM) process.
In a recent press release, NovationSi announced a newly developed HCR healthcare compounds that enhances electrical properties of silicone rubber, using patent-pending technologies that incorporate a revolutionary single-wall carbon nanotube (“SG101”) developed by Zeon Corporation.
During the 2020 International Silicone Conference hosted by Rubber & Plastics News, Rick Ziebell RDAbbott’s Technical Fellow and Vice President of Technology, provided a technical presentation titled “Third-Stream Additives that Modify LSR and HCR.” A PDF of this presentation is now available for your review.
RDAbbott will deliver a technical presentation about innovative silicone additives technologies and host an “Ask the Expert” session highlighting optical silicone advances during the 2020 International Silicone Conference. The International Silicone Conference is a biennial event that will feature a virtual edition this year.
Rick Ziebell, RDAbbott’s Vice President of Technology, is scheduled to present “Modifying Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) Properties with Third-Stream Additives,” on Wednesday, July 1, from 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM at the Smithers Silicone & TPE Elastomers U.S. Virtual 2020 Summit.
During week two of this three-day virtual summit, Liquid Silicone Rubber Solutions is the topic and RDAbbott’s Rick Ziebell is one of the technical presenters. Ziebell’s presentation, “Modifying LSR Properties with Third-Stream Additives,” is scheduled for July 1 from 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM.
Live at MD&M West 2020 in Anaheim, California. We’re featuring a custom-designed flying disc over-molded with 50-durometer Dow SILASTIC™ Low Temperature Cure (LTC) 9400 Series Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR).
RDAbbott will demonstrate a revolutionary application for overmolding liquid silicone rubber (LSR) at MD&M West this year. RDAbbott, in partnership with M.R. Mold & Engineering Corp., will showcase a production cell where 50-durometer Dow SILASTIC™ LTC 9400 LSR, a low-temperature curing (LTC) elastomer for high-volume injection molding, is overmolded onto a custom-designed flying disc. Historically, LSR overmolding onto low-melting-point plastics and other thermally-sensitive components, such as electronics, has not been possible because of the high curing temperatures required.
