RDAbbott will exhibit at the 2022 Spring Technical Meeting of the Rubber Division, ACS, a division of the American Chemical Society. This year’s event is scheduled for April 26 through April 28 at the Marriott Cleveland East in Warrensville Heights, Ohio, near the popular Beachwood area.

As you’ve likely heard, RDAbbott’s Service Center in Cerritos, California, is relocating to Garden Grove, California (just 8 miles from its current location). Our new address will be 11958 Monarch Street Garden Grove, CA 92841.

Rubber News recently published an article highlighting some of the factors that contributed to RDAbbott being named one of their 2021 Best Places to Work in the rubber industry.

RDAbbott is honoring Manfred “Fred” Hammers, a Senior Account Manager whose 50+ years career ended with his retirement on December 31, 2021, after 18 years with the company. Fred joined RDAbbott as a Technical Service Representative in 2004 after spending many years in the rubber, latex, and adhesives industry as a Technical and Production Manager. Fred’s colleagues and former co-workers recently shared their memories of him in a tribute that attests to his professional knowledge and personal character.

RDAbbott is now distributing Parker LORD products to even more locations across North America. Under a new distribution agreement that became effective on November 1, RDAbbott began stocking Parker LORD materials at its Barberton, Ohio, service center for shipment to customers in Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

RDAbbott has been named one of Rubber News’ Best Places to Work in 2021. Rubber News sponsors the competition annually and announced this year’s winners on November 1. This is the second time RDAbbott has been named to the publication’s “Best Places to Work” List, which recognizes rubber industry companies based on employee satisfaction.
