RDAbbott will demonstrate a revolutionary application for overmolding liquid silicone rubber (LSR) at MD&M West this year. RDAbbott, in partnership with M.R. Mold & Engineering Corp., will showcase a production cell where 50-durometer Dow SILASTIC™ LTC 9400 LSR, a low-temperature curing (LTC) elastomer for high-volume injection molding, is overmolded onto a custom-designed flying disc. Historically, LSR overmolding onto low-melting-point plastics and other thermally-sensitive components, such as electronics, has not been possible because of the high curing temperatures required.
RDAbbott is proud to announce its partnership with M.R. Mold & Engineering in Booth 1346 at MD&M West in Anaheim, California, February 11 – 13, 2020, featuring a custom-designed plastic flying disc over-molded with 50-durometer Dow SILASTIC™ Low Temperature Cure (LTC) 9400 Series Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR).
German RepRap presents new product innovations in Liquid Additive Manufacturing (LAM) and and Fused Filament Fabrication (FFF) technologies at Formnext 2019 from November 19 – 22.
RDAbbott is proud to announce its partnership with Toshiba Machine in Hall 15, Booth B04, at the K 2019 in Germany to produce an automotive LED headlamp optic made of Dow SILASTIC™ MS-1002 Moldable Optical Silicone. All participating partners in this collaborative production cell include: Toshiba Machines, EPF Automation, Dow, ELMET, M.R. Mold & Engineering, Frigel, Yushin America, Inc., LumenFlow Corp., and RDAbbott.
Dow presenta las bases de caucho de silicona fluorada SILASTIC™ con un rendimiento optimizado para demandas competitivas.
Come by and see us in Booth 1673 at the RAPID + TCT conference May 20 – 23, at the Cobo Center in Detroit, Michigan. RDAbbott will be showcasing German RepRap’s first production-ready L280 Liquid Additive Manufacturing (LAM) 3D printer using Dow’s SILASTIC™ 3D 3335 Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR).
RDAbbott will demonstrate a revolutionary L280 LAM 3D printer in M.R. Mold & Engineering’s Booth #1346 at MD&M West in Anaheim, California, from February 5 to 7. Rick Ziebell, Technology Fellow for RDAbbott, will also present a paper, “LAM of Silicone Rubber Components,” on February 5 from 3:15 to 4:00 PM. MD&M West attendees who are seeking greater design possibilities, finer controls, and significantly faster times-to-market are invited to learn more.
