“LSR Basics” Presentation at Sodick-Plustech’s NPE Preview Partner Showcase (April 11)

Craig Lustek, RDAbbott Application/Business Development Engineer, will present “Liquid Silicone Rubber Basics” at Sodick-Plustech’s NPE Preview Showcase on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 10 AM to 4 PM in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. This one-day event at Plustech’s North American headquarters will give industry professionals an opportunity to preview Sodick-Plustech’s injection molding machines (IMM) less than a month before NPE 2024 in Orlando, Florida.

Craig’s technical presentations will offer an in-depth overview of injection molding with liquid silicone rubber (LSR). Topics covered will include:

In addition to providing an overview of the featured equipment and materials needed for these LIM cells, Craig will highlight Sodick’s LSR applications for medical molding and micro-molding.

Lastly, Craig will also provide a brief overview of the elastomer products and services available from RDAbbott and NovationSi, RDAbbott’s manufacturing subsidiary.

Craig Lustek has more than 25 years of experience in process engineering, research and development, product management and manufacturing. Before joining RDAbbott, he was an application engineer for one of the world’s largest manufacturers of plastics injection molding machines. Craig has also worked as a process engineer for a supplier of silicone LIMS.

As an RDAbbott Application/Business Development Engineer, Craig shares his in-depth knowledge of LIMS by developing technical resources and procedures, defining optimal IMM processes and setups, consulting with customers, and training key personnel.
