Cancarb Limited recently announced the completion and successful commissioning of the sixth unit at its thermal carbon black production facility in Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada. This expansion brings capacity for its Thermax® brand of thermal carbon black products to 54,000 MT per year.

RDAbbott has hired Lincoln Gilmour as its Canada Sales and Business Manager. Lincoln brings more than 20 years of experience in sales leadership, business development and product management in both the adhesives and coatings markets.

RDAbbott has signed a new distribution agreement with LORD Corporation to expand its distribution of LORD adhesives and coatings to Canada. This new agreement will be facilitated and managed locally by RDAbbott’s newly established division, RDAbbott Canada, Ltd., based out of Burlington, Ontario, in the Greater Toronto Area.
