RDAbbott will exhibit and present at the 2022 International Silicone Conference, a biennial event for the silicone industry that is organized by Rubber News. The conference is scheduled for May 10 and 11 at the Sheraton Suites Akron in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. RDAbbott will exhibit in tabletop booth #10, deliver a technical presentation, and provide the closing address. RDAbbott industry veterans Rick Ziebell and John Carroll will share valuable information and insights at an event where the elite in the silicone industry meet.

RDAbbott has been named one of Rubber News’ Best Places to Work in 2021. Rubber News sponsors the competition annually and announced this year’s winners on November 1. This is the second time RDAbbott has been named to the publication’s “Best Places to Work” List, which recognizes rubber industry companies based on employee satisfaction. RDAbbott was also named to this distinguished list in 2019.

RDAbbott will sponsor an Ask the Expert session, share the results of technical research through a partner presentation, and engage event participants as a virtual exhibitor. RDAbbott’s John Carroll, a 50-year industry veteran known as the “Godfather of Silicone,” will participate in the one-hour panel discussion and question-and-answer session. At a time when silicone prices are rising and silicone applications keep increasing, Carroll and other members of the expert panel will offer valuable insights about market trends, the virtues of silicones, as well as future business opportunities.

RDAbbott has released a delightful holiday video called “Deck the Labs,” a good-natured parody of “Deck the Halls,” the classic Christmas carol. RDAbbott’s 2019 Christmas video was fully produced at the company’s headquarters and is the latest in a series of holiday messages that include “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree” (2018) and “Feliz Navidad” (2017).
